White metal chassis |
This is a range of ready to run chassis developed from the M1 made by Malcolm Savage for his 12mm gauge 5.5mm scale Armoured Simplex. |
The M2 chassis was designed to provide a power unit to convert the Knightwing diesel to 12mm narrow gauge.
It comes with its own mounting block. |
The M3 is a replacement unit for the 4mm scale Anbrico County Donegal railcar.
Extra pieces are included to allow for modification of the kit to the correct articulated form. |
The M4 is a motor bogie intended for use in TT gauge railcars and coaches.
It has a suitable pivot point on the top of the motor mount. Supplied with a bogie mounting strip in Nickel Silver. |
The M5 is a power bogie for the West Clare Walker diesel and is intended to go under the body kit made by Worsley works.
These also have a suitable pivot point on top of the motor and are supplied with mounting strips in Nickel Silver. |
All chassis (except M5) can be supplied to gauges wider than 12mm and also with larger wheels as the gauge increases. |
Etched Nickel-Silver Chassis |
There are currently three chassis in this range all designed by Malcolm Savage to fit under his 5.5mm scale locomotive kits.
Although designed for particular prototypes they can be used for freelance purposes |

This chassis can be built with either 24.75mm or 27.5mm wheelbase and with either spoke or disc wheels.
An etched cab and tender underframe are also included in this chassis. |
At the moment there is no body kit for this chassis but it will fit under the original GEM kit without difficulty. |
All chassis (except M7) can be supplied with one or in some cases with two flywheels. |
